The Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic is a Professional Women’s Golf Tournament on the LPGA Symetra Tour. This is the only tour in the world where top female golfers can earn full time status on the LPGA, and many of the most well-known and successful players in the world have played on this tour. The tournament is held at the beautiful and prestigious Brook-Lea Country Club, on a championship level course designed by world famous golf course designer Donald Ross.
The tournament benefits the Pluta Cancer Center Foundation and is held to honor the memory of Rochester’s greatest LPGA player Danielle Downey, who was tragically killed in a car accident on January 30, 2014.
Tickets can be purchased at participating area credit unions, at all area Wegmans Service Desks or online.
