Monday, July 12 – The “Junior Experience” – Programs for Youth; Education and Junior Golf

 

Junior Clinics, presented by Visions Federal Credit Union
8:30 AM-11:00 AM- LPGA Symetra Tour Professionals and local high school and college players work together to teach young golfers (4-12 years old) about golf and the life skills that are associated with golf. There will be multiple sessions (two) and young people will come from multiple local programs.

The Future of Women’s Golf Pro-Am, presented by Crosby Brownlie
2:00 PM – This event was started 15 years ago by Danielle Downey and friends, and has continued after her passing as the opening golf event of our tournament week. It is unique on the LPGA and Symetra Tour. Each team has a professional, a high school player and three amateurs and the pro and high school girl share a cart. We will accommodate up to 26 teams and it is a shotgun start with a dinner after.

Danielle Downey Scholarship Dinner
6:00 PM – After the pro-am, the golfers are joined by the Downey family, some of the high school parents, and the Scholarship Committee for dinner at which the Danielle Downey Scholarship winner is announced by Danielle’s sister, Erica Setzer. The Scholarship awards a $2,500 scholarship annually to a graduating senior that played golf in high school, and also awards a matching $2,500 to the charity of the winner’s choice.

 

Tuesday, July 13 – Women and the Community – A day of fun, networking and learning

 

6th Annual Deloitte Women’s Forum presented by Visit Rochester (Attend Live or Virtually)
8:30 AM-11:00 AM – A panel of incredibly successful women from around the country share their stories and achievements with local female executives and young professionals. This is a great learning event, with conversations and networking included. One of the cornerstone events of tournament week.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union Celebrity Event
1:00 PM – Sports and media celebrities team up with healthcare workers and school employees and a professional golfer for a nine-hole scramble that is fun for fans and participants. We will have fans at this event! 

Party with the Pro’s, presented by Auto Financial Group
6:00 PM – A chance for players and sponsors to interact with food and beverages and games for all. This event is exclusive to sponsors, Brook-Lea members and pro-am participants with a ticket. 

 

Wednesday, July 14 – Pro-Am Day

Ad Pro Sports presents the Wednesday Morning Nine and Nine Pro-Am – (The official pro-am of the Symetra Tour)
7:00 AM to 8:50 AM Tee times – The morning pro-am on Wednesday follows a format to allow participants on 22 teams to play nine holes with one professional and then a second nine with a different professional and end with one team score. A meal follows for all participants.

Syracuse University Athletics  presents the Wednesday Afternoon Pluta Cancer Center Foundation Pro-Am
2:00 PM Shot Gun Start – The afternoon pro-am was created by friends of the tournament due to the high demand for pro-am slots, and also features 22-24 teams invited by the pro-am committee. There is a meal afterwards for the group.

The Bonadio Group presents the New York State Credit Union Association’s Young Professionals Conference (Held Virtually)
Kickoff Event for Attendees 7:30 PM – Young professionals from credit unions around the state meet on site at Brook-Lea CC for an experience that is educational in nature. Top industry experts will speak to the attendees and a panel of pro golfers will talk about their careers as well.

 

Thursday, July 15 – Credit Union Day 

The Bonadio Group presents the New York State Credit Union Association’s Young Professionals Conference (Held Virtually) 

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – YP Conference


CUNA Mutual presents the Credit Union Celebration 5:30 – 8:30 PM
5:30 PM – Credit Union sponsors and partners gather as a thank you for their help and support for our event.

 

Thursday, July 15- Sunday, July 18 – Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic will be underway

Tee times will run from 7:30am – 2:30pm and play will continue all day until approximately 7:30pm on Thursday and Friday.
Saturday and Sunday the field will be cut to 60 players and tee times will be dependent on weather. Play generally concludes mid-afternoon.
