We are proud to announce that this year we will be celebrating Rising Stars. To kick off this year’s campaign, we would like to introduce Madison Pressel a Symetra Tour Rising Star.

Madison is from Boca Raton, Florida and attended The University of Texas at Austin. She currently ranks at #65 on the Symetra Tour money list. She is sponsored by The Summit Federal Credit Union headquartered in Rochester, New York. You may be familiar with her sister Morgan Pressel Bush who currently plays on the LPGA.

We sat down with Madison and asked her a few questions, here is what she had to say.

1. What are you looking forward to most about being in Rochester and competing in the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic?

“I absolutely love playing Brook Lea and competing in front of the Rochester crowds. Everyone there enjoys golf so much and comes out to watch us compete. Not just on the course, when people see me in town in golf clothes, they ask how I’m doing in the tournament!”

2. If you were stuck on a deserted island with any two girls on tour who would you choose and why?

“Portland Rosen – she is so positive and happy and would certainly make the most of being stranded. Plus she would have all the essential oils to help us make it through ????

“Julia Roth – one of my best friends on tour, she and I do so much together! Being stranded means she would finally have time to teach me Swedish “????

3. What is your pre-round favorite meal?

“Pre round meals vary, but one of my favorites is Chobani with Purely Elizabeth gluten free oats and fruit – adding a banana with almond butter makes it even better!”
